About your Weekend Oasis hosts
Here at Weekend Oasis we are a family business and combined we have over 250 years of Virginia residency. We hope to have you as our guest!
Jason and Amber
Having traveled all over the world, worked in New York City, Washington DC, and consulted with nearly every fortune 100 company in the United States, Amber and Jason know how important a relaxing vacation can be. As your main hosts, we strive to ensure you have a seamless booking process, easy check-in and check-out, and properties that are enjoyable and offer total relaxation. You will find your OASIS with us!
Jason purchased his first cabin in 2002 in Linden, Virginia. In 2006 another property was purchased at Bryce Resort and the business was officially started, privately renting our properties. Jason's wife, Amber, picked the name Weekend Oasis and helped grow the business to where it is today. The second property was opened in 2007, with two additional properties following.
Jason was born and raised in Virginia, growing up in Woodbridge, Virginia. Attended Potomac Senior High school in Dumfries Virginia and later achieved several computer certifications in web design and networking, attended Strayer University, and Drexel University. Jason is in charge of all marketing and guest relations at Weekend Oasis.
Amber was born and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania, attended Wilkes-Barre Academy and Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory schools. She is also a Georgetown University graduate with a BS in Business, and is completing her MBA at New York University. Amber is in charge of finance and strategy at Weekend Oasis.
Pansy and Ray
After retiring with over 35 years (each) in the grocery business, Pansy and Ray are enjoying the retired life. Understanding how to meet customer needs is something they are both experts in and knowing just about everyone in Virginia, Pansy and Ray help Jason and Amber run Weekend Oasis. Together, they support the on-property assignments such as managing our maintenance crew, overseeing each properties condition and check-in quality standards, as well as offering a sounding board to continue to improve the business. Frequent guests at the properties, you are more than likely going to find them staying at one of the cabins and more than willing to assist guests on-site when required.
Oliver and Bernard
Pictured above at one of our cabins, Oliver and Bernard are in charge of making sure guests don't leave any items, getting things dropped under the couches, and making sure no crumbs are left behind :) Our pug and boston terrier frequently travel with us (all cabins are dog friendly) and enjoy sleeping, eating, running around, and sitting in front of the fireplace.
